Personal Experience & Biography

James C. Shah is a Partner at Miller Shah LLP and an accomplished whistleblower and complex litigation attorney based in the firm’s Los Angeles office. With extensive experience in False Claims Act, antitrust, consumer, and insurance litigation, Jim has represented whistleblowers and plaintiffs in high-stakes cases that have recovered millions for clients and the government.

A graduate of the University of Oregon and Temple University School of Law, Jim was a member of Temple’s nationally ranked Trial Team and Moot Court program. Before joining Miller Shah, he practiced at Pelino & Lentz P.C. in Philadelphia, focusing on employment, securities, and commercial disputes, where he built a reputation for his skill in navigating complex financial and corporate cases.

Jim is admitted to the bar in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is active in several professional organizations, including the American Association for Justice, Public Justice, and the National Association of Securities and Consumer Attorneys. He divides his time between Philadelphia and Los Angeles and continues to advocate for whistleblowers and consumers seeking accountability from powerful institutions.
